Mid Del Farmers' Market Association:
A Project of Sustainable East Oklahoma County
The Mid Del Farmers' Market Association (MDFMA) operates as a not-for-profit corporation functioning in Midwest City, Oklahoma. MDFMA's purpose is promoting the health and well being of Midwest City and the surrounding communities by bringing local vendors of agricultural products to the area to provide the freshest and healthiest nutritional options to the citizens and to support local agricultural producers.

The MDFMA has as its goal to also be an avenue for people to learn about healthy nutritional habits and sustainable community practices.

Membership is open to any agricultural producer or value-added producer of an agricultural product who applies at least five business days prior to the market for membership in MDFMA and will become a member upon acceptance of the producer’s application by the Board of Directors. Non-food but agricultural related (soaps, baskets, etc.) and value added food vendors may become Producer Members if the Board accepts their application.

There are two categories of MDFMA members, Producer Members and Associate Members.  Producer Members are agricultural producers in the state of Oklahoma and board approved value-added vendors, each having full voting membership.  Associate Members are not agricultural producers but are from categories such as site representative(s), sustainability representative(s), local foods representative(s), and the market manager.
