
The purpose of SEOC is to serve as a regional chapter of the Oklahoma Sustainability Network (OSN), promoting lasting improvements to this area of Oklahoma’s economy, ecology, and equity. The mission of SEOC is to promote community sustainability, connect those working towards sustainability, and serve as a resource for sustainability information integral to the future of Eastern Oklahoma County and Oklahoma.
The Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit educational foundation. Established in 1985, the foundation headquarters is located on the historic Kerr Ranch near Poteau in southeastern Oklahoma. Under the dynamic leadership of Kerr Center president and CEO Dr. James E. Horne, the organization has focused on finding sustainable solutions to the economic, social and environmental challenges facing Oklahoma’s farmers, ranchers and rural communities.

The Oklahoma Sustainability Network (OSN) serves to connect and educate the people of Oklahoma concerning the many aspects of sustainability. OSN is a catalyst and a resource for the improvement of Oklahoma's economy, ecology, and equity.
